About this policy
Majestic Code operates CHIEFORY and is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. References to “CHIEFORY,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Majestic Code in its operation of the platform.
CHIEFORY is an executive services directory and editorial resource. This policy covers personal information handled through our website, introduction requests, company submissions, profile claims, contact forms, and newsletter subscriptions.
For privacy questions or requests, email info@chiefory.com or use our privacy request form.
You can browse the public directory without submitting a contact form or subscribing. A provider you contact or engage through an external website handles your information under its own privacy policy.
Information you provide
We collect the details you choose to enter when you use a form or correspond with us.
| When you use | Information collected | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Introduction requests | Name, business email, business name, executive role needed, industry, company stage and size, budget range, timing, and your description of the challenge | Review your needs and respond about relevant executive partners |
| Company submissions | Company name, website, services, location, description, and the submitting representative’s name and email | Review a proposed listing and contact its representative |
| Profile claims | Your name, email, company role, authority to represent the company, and supporting information you submit | Assess whether a requested profile change is authorized |
| Contact and correction requests | Name, email, topic, message, and any profile or correction details you include | Respond to questions, investigate corrections, and handle privacy requests |
| Newsletter subscriptions | Email address, subscription status, and the date you consented | Send updates you have requested and record your preferences |
Required fields are identified on each form. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to review or respond to that request. Optional context is your choice. Please do not submit passwords, payment card details, identity documents, sensitive personal information, or confidential client material through public forms.
Public company information
Directory profiles draw on official company websites, public business sources, and information supplied by company representatives. They can include company names, websites, business contact details, office locations, services, industries, and professional information associated with the business. Business information can also be personal information when it identifies an individual.
Approved profile content is public and may be indexed by search engines. Submission messages, claim evidence, introduction requests, and internal editorial notes are not published as part of a profile. If information about you is inaccurate or should be reviewed, send us the profile link and your requested correction. Read our methodology for more about sourcing and review.
How we use information
We use information to operate the directory, respond to requests, review company listings and claims, maintain accurate profiles, protect forms from abuse, and send requested communications. A form submission may generate a confirmation email to you and an internal notification for the CHIEFORY team.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, the purposes above involve our legitimate interests in providing a useful business directory, responding to correspondence, keeping records accurate, and securing the service. Newsletter subscriptions and optional analytics rely on your consent. We may also process information when necessary to meet applicable legal obligations or handle legal claims.
Consent to a newsletter is separate from using the directory or submitting an introduction request. You can withdraw it by contacting us. We do not make automated decisions that determine your legal rights or eligibility for executive services. Our team reviews introduction requests; search and filter results organize published provider information.
Sharing and introductions
Submitting an introduction request does not automatically send your details to providers. The CHIEFORY team reviews the request first. Any proposed introduction should be relevant to your needs, with the intended sharing communicated to you before it occurs.
Information may be available to authorized team members and service providers that support hosting, storage, email delivery, and security. Submission details may also appear in the team’s email notifications and related correspondence. We may disclose information when required by applicable law or when necessary to investigate abuse or protect legal rights.
We do not sell form submissions as a general contact list. Sponsored directory placement does not give a company automatic access to your request or contact details.
Cookies and analytics
Essential storage. Session and security cookies support forms, protect requests, and maintain administrative sign-in. Server-side session records and security logs may include an IP address, browser information, and request times. Blocking essential cookies may prevent forms or sign-in from working correctly.
Your shortlist. Selected company names and profile identifiers are stored in your browser to keep your comparison shortlist available. Use Clear in the comparison bar or your browser’s site-data controls to remove that shortlist. Your analytics preference is also stored on your device. These preferences remain until you change them or clear the site’s stored data.
Optional analytics. When configured, Google Analytics or Plausible can help us understand visits and use of the directory. Optional analytics load only after you choose to allow them. You can browse, search, compare providers, and submit forms without accepting optional analytics. You can change your choice using the analytics controls below when these services are enabled. Turning analytics off stops future analytics loading; existing cookies can be removed through your browser settings.
Internal usage events. We record events such as company profile views, provider website clicks, and form submissions. These event records contain the event type, time, source, and related company where applicable. They do not themselves contain your name, email address, IP address, or a browser fingerprint. Form records and operational logs are separate from these usage events.
Optional third-party analytics are currently disabled on this site.
External links and referral tags
Links to provider websites and other external resources may include UTM referral tags. These identify CHIEFORY as the source of a visit and may identify the referring page, company profile, or link placement. CHIEFORY does not add your name, email, or form contents to those referral tags.
Following an external link connects your browser to that website. The destination may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details and may use its own cookies or analytics. Review its privacy policy before providing information. A link or introduction does not make CHIEFORY responsible for a provider’s independent data practices.
Security and service providers
Access to private submissions and administrative records is restricted to authorized administrators. We use access controls and form protections to reduce unauthorized access and abuse. No website or email service can guarantee complete security.
When Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled on a form, it processes browser and device signals to assess whether a submission is automated. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about its processing.
Hosting, email, security, and analytics services may process information in countries other than your own. The processing locations and any transfer safeguards depend on the services involved. Contact info@chiefory.com for information about the providers and processing relevant to your request.
How long we keep information
Our routine retention periods for platform records are:
| Record | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Internal usage events | Scheduled for deletion after 180 days from creation |
| Introduction requests | Scheduled for deletion after 24 months from creation |
| Contact inquiries and listing claims | Scheduled for deletion after 12 months from creation |
| Company submissions and published profiles | Kept while needed to review, maintain, or document the listing; reviewed when a correction or deletion is requested |
| Newsletter records | Kept while needed to manage the subscription and record consent or withdrawal |
These periods describe records in the platform. Email correspondence, delivery records, security logs, and backups can have separate lifecycles. We assess their retention according to the purpose of the record, security needs, and applicable legal obligations. Removing a record from the active platform does not immediately remove earlier backup copies.
Your rights and choices
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may be able to request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, a portable copy, or limits on how it is used.
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests where applicable, and you can object to direct marketing at any time. You can also withdraw consent for processing that relies on it. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of processing already carried out before you withdrew consent.
Email info@chiefory.com or use the privacy request form. Describe what you would like us to do and, if relevant, include the affected company profile or request reference. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that a request concerns you or that you are authorized to act. Do not send identity documents unless we specifically request them through an appropriate channel.
Rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. We will explain if a request cannot be fully fulfilled. You may also raise a concern with the data protection authority or other privacy regulator responsible for your jurisdiction, without first contacting us.
Children’s information
CHIEFORY is intended for adults acting in a business or professional capacity. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our forms. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
Updates and contact
We may revise this policy as the service or its information practices change. The updated date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Where required, material changes will be brought to your attention through an appropriate notice.
For questions, corrections, or requests about personal information, contact info@chiefory.com. You can also submit a privacy request or review our terms of use.
